March 22, 2021 – Sinclair Health Clinic, a provider of low-cost, community-based health services to the Northern Shenandoah Valley area of Virginia, recently implemented the EyeArt® AI system for diabetic eye screening. This represents the EyeArt system’s first deployment in a free and charitable care clinic in the US.
Universal access to health care services is a national priority. Safety-net providers — in the form of free and charitable clinics, community health centers (CHC) and federally qualified health centers (FQHC), provide much needed support to fill service delivery gaps for the uninsured and underinsured. Currently there are thousands of safety-net providers throughout the United States.
